Estimate your annual lift maintenance budget, AMC provision, consumables, spare parts and repair reserve for residential, apartment, commercial, hospital and goods lifts.
Select the closest conditions for your lift. The result is a planning estimate and not a quotation.
Published market references can help customers understand the broad range before requesting an actual quotation.
Indicative annual non-comprehensive range from publicly available market references.
Broad annual range depending on equipment, usage and AMC scope.
Higher costs can apply to high-rise, freight, hospital and heavy-duty equipment.
Understand the indicative market cost of common lift parts before budgeting for repairs or maintenance.
| Component | Category | Indicative Planning Price | Typical Use | Important Note |
|---|
Routine inspection, lubrication, adjustment, cleaning and checking of critical mechanical and electrical systems.
Oils, grease, cleaners, fuses and other low-value consumables required during regular servicing.
Rollers, belts, sensors, locks, contacts, shoes and operator components can contribute significantly to repair cost.
Relays, contactors, SMPS units, PCBs, controllers, displays, encoders and drives may require replacement as equipment ages.
Guide shoes, bearings, brake components, ropes, traction sheaves and machine components can create larger repair provisions.
Breakdown visits, troubleshooting and unexpected component replacement are separate cost considerations in many AMC models.
Lift maintenance cost varies considerably depending on the equipment and contract scope. A small residential lift may require a substantially different maintenance budget from a heavily used apartment, commercial, hospital or freight lift.
The annual budget should therefore be considered in two parts: the recurring service/AMC provision and a separate reserve for consumables, repairs and components that are outside the selected AMC scope.
An AMC may cover scheduled preventive maintenance while excluding major spare parts, damage, modernization, certain consumables or breakdown-related components. The actual annual maintenance expenditure can therefore exceed the AMC amount.
As a lift becomes older, component replacement and repair requirements can increase. A separate repair reserve is therefore useful even where an AMC is already in place.
There is no single price. Publicly available Indian market references commonly show annual AMC figures ranging from roughly ₹20,000 for smaller residential equipment to ₹50,000 or more for larger or more demanding installations, with some heavy-use installations going substantially higher.
It depends on the contract. Basic, preventive and non-comprehensive contracts commonly have exclusions, while comprehensive contracts may cover a broader range of components. Always check the written scope and exclusions.
Price depends on manufacturer, model, capacity, specification, original/OEM or compatible component, availability and whether installation and commissioning are included.
No. The calculator is a planning tool. Volo quotations are based on the actual equipment, site condition, component specification, required scope and applicable commercial terms.
A repair reserve can be useful in addition to the AMC amount, especially for older lifts, high-use installations and equipment with ageing controllers, drives, door systems or mechanical components.
Depending on the contract, routine service labour may be included in AMC while special breakdown work, installation, major repairs or replacement work may be separately charged.
